\nThe Ones Genelec family<\/a><\/strong> grows. The award-winning 8351<\/strong> is joined by the 8331<\/strong> and 8341,<\/strong> new small three-<\/strong>
\nway coaxial monitors,<\/strong> to create a complete compact coaxial range<\/strong> that \u201credefines near-field monitoring\u201d.
\nHoused in enclosures no larger than a traditional two-way 8030<\/strong> or 8040,<\/strong> they wipe away the previous constraints of coaxial point source set-ups. The new Ones models<\/a><\/strong> eliminate the previous constraints of coaxial Point Source, giving the user more freedom of movement rather than confining them to a narrow sweet spot. Using the Genelec Minimal Diffraction Coaxial<\/a> (MDC) driver<\/strong>, Ones models<\/a><\/strong> deliver precise imaging both on- and off-axis, coupled with neutral reproduction, meaning users can make mix decisions with confidence while also listening for longer without fatigue. In addition, Genelec\u2019s Directivity Control Waveguide<\/a> (DCW),<\/strong> is combined with the concealed dual woofer design. Like the 8351,<\/strong> both the 8331<\/strong> and 8341<\/strong> can be orientated horizontally or vertically using an adjustable IsoPod base<\/strong> for isolation, with absolutely no compromise in performance, offering flexibility to fit even the tightest of working environments.

\nInnovations include a motor assembly that sees both the midrange and the tweeter share the same compact magnet system, reducing size and weight with no reduction in response. Each unit incorporates three stages of dedicated Class D amplification,<\/strong> developed in-house by Genelec<\/a><\/strong> and including the Intelligent Signal Sensing<\/a> (ISS)<\/strong> energy saving technology.
\nThe short-term maximum output capacities for each of the models is 104 dB SPL<\/strong> for the 8331<\/strong> (at 1m), and 110 dB SPL<\/strong> for the 8341<\/strong> (at 1m). The coaxial design allows for ultra-near-field listening. The listening distance may be as short as 40 cm<\/strong>.
\nFinally, with The Ones<\/strong><\/a>, Ultimate Point Source meets ultimate flexibility with Smart Active Monitoring<\/a> (SAM)<\/strong>, the ground-breaking Genelec<\/strong> technology based on Genelec Loudspeaker Manager<\/a> (GLM) 2.0<\/strong> software for PC<\/strong> and Mac,<\/strong> incorporating AutoCal.<\/strong> With SAM<\/a>, The Ones<\/a><\/strong> take their place in a larger family of smart monitors from across the Genelec range, all of which can be used to create smart networks of up to 40 monitors<\/strong> and subwoofers per network.
