Screenint’s participation in ISE 2023 decisively relaunches the role of video projection in many application areas
Annalisa Orlando, Sales and Marketing Manager of Screenint, whom we met at the company’s stand at ISE 2023, has no doubts: “This year ISE has been a great success for us. Lots of movement around our stand, which is in an excellent position. I noticed a lot of enthusiasm, a high number of visits and a great desire to resume personal relationships after the pandemic.”
Screenint means video projection. So we cannot miss the opportunity to take stock with Annalisa of the world of video projection, openly challenged by the diffusion of LED walls. “Video projection” – Annalisa told us – “has recently seen a profound change, but it remains a technology that in certain applications continues to be the best, even in terms of cost. LEDs, on large screens, cannot match projectors in terms of results and, moreover, for environments where detail, precision and colorimetry are needed, LED technology is a loser. In short, video projection is still the best choice, especially for large dimensions and immersive environments. Our future as a company is to follow this type of project, the added value we offer is the ability to find the right solution for any need, beyond the standard catalogue. Even the materials are changing, research never stops. More and more is invested in materials that reject ambient light and maintain good contrast and brightness of the images even with interference from ambient lights.”
All this talk of innovation and research has made us greedy! So what are the main innovations presented by Screenint this year at ISE? “I’d start with a product that isn’t really an absolute novelty” Annalisa Orlando replies “but that we hadn’t yet brought to any fair: Flexfix, a rental frame screen with built-in support, modular structure, easy to assemble, with buttoned canvas, ideal for events but also for those fixed installations that require moving the screen from one place to another in the same location, for example between different classrooms or meeting rooms. Flexfix has such a light and agile structure that it moves with very little effort.”
The main novelty on the Screenint stand, however, was another product: the new wireless electric screen, with battery-powered motor that does not require electrical wiring. “It is” explains Annalisa “an excellent product for both Corporate and residential, also available in ceiling mounting for screens up to 4 and a half meters wide. Finally, I would also mention the new mobile table trolley to position an Ultra Short-Throw projector at the correct distance. In practice, it is an innovative drawer projector holder with remote control and cable holder inside, all with a 40 cm adjustable range. A product that can also be used in Educational applications, where the projector is not mounted on the ceiling, as usual, but placed on a table.”
