Composed of seven large models, from 120” to 220”, the new LED displays series by MAXHUB have an “aggressive” name (Raptor Series) but they fit with sweetness and naturalness in many Corporate contexts and they’re characterized by a constant detail: the so-called “wow effect”, or the ability to amaze the viewer.
Imagine an entire wall, or almost, covered by moving images in 4K definition, and you will have an idea of the new Raptor LED series by Maxhub: large, slim and performing LED displays, the Raptor Series is a new LED Wall solution created to radically simplify the control and setting functions, helping both participants and presenters to interact in the most natural and complete way possible.
In fact, there is no doubt that the main area of use of these colossal monitors is collaboration, in the name of video and audio quality, ease of interaction and completeness of the experience, since in front of such a LED Wall anyone he feels “enveloped” by the image and even more inclined to share and communicate.
Crisp images and integrated audio
Let’s start from the first level of evaluation for a LED Wall: the image. The Raptor series immediately seeks the impact on the viewer with an immersive 4K quality that boasts, in particular, a high fidelity in the reproduction and depth of colors, thanks to a brightness/contrast ratio among the highest available on the market. If we talk about collaboration, however, the audio aspect is equally important: you need to perfectly hear and interact for a meeting to be effective. The Raptor Series offer an integrated soundbar with two 30W speakers, specifically designed to improve the intelligibility of the voice, in the knowledge that well seeing but badly hearing is not a real help for collaboration.
All this, in an all-in-one product, which requires nothing more than to be assembled and connected, and which is also characterized – in its category – as one of the thinnest and lightest. Since these are different display models ranging from 120” up to 220”, passing through intermediate 138” and 150” sizes, the thinness and weight are details of no small importance.
Operating system and functionality
For an effective collaboration, an aspect not to be underestimated is the support of the operating system. Having a state-of-the-art operating system not only improves overall performance, but also facilitates the collaboration of all participants with their personal devices. The LED Wall Raptor Series offer Android 9.0 on board, an updated and performing system that guarantees uninterrupted connections, and allows integrated video processing, the possibility of dividing the screen into four windows with flexible PiP/PbP display and, in terms of connectivity, three HDMI 2.0 inputs and outputs as well as a USB 3.0 input, which further simplifies the connection of other devices for sharing data and images.
In fact, today collaboration cannot ignore a BYOD type approach. The Raptor series is no exception, indeed, it relaunches thanks to Maxhub’s proprietary LEDconfig technology. The LEDconfig software offers easy control and intuitive access to all interactive functions via personal device of each participant in the meeting, effectively remoting the LED Wall on the smartphone, tablet or PC of anyone who needs it. The Raptor series LED displays also fit well into any third-party systems, extending their functionality and adding “wow effect”, the strong impact on the viewer we were talking about at the beginning of the article.
Installation and design
Maxhub is a brand always very attentive to the design and elegance of its products, in the knowledge that they will fit into refined and high-level environments. The Raptor series features a practical 3-in-1 design meant to offer everything you need in one package, which includes:
- control Unit: Sending Card + Android Card + Video Processor;
- receiver unit: Power Supply + Receiving Card + Hub Board;
- powerunit: Power Supply + Amplifier + Relay.
Despite the large size of the displays, installation is plug-and-play, also thanks to the thin structure of the monitors, and maintenance is also simple and does not require complex and frequent interventions. The monitors can be installed on the wall, ceiling-hanging or (only the 120”, 138” and 150” sizes) on a special support with wheels. In short, once installed, a display of the Raptor Series will be a real “technological window” on the world, directly from the meeting or conference room.
