Introduced at ISE 2018, here is the latest NEC product for 4K projection: the new PX1005QL, which combines low cost of operation and “pixel free” image quality.
The PX series of NEC Display Solutions is evolving: at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam, was previewed the new model PX1005QL, a 4K UHD projector with high brightness (10.000 lumens) and an innovative color and image processing, based on the latest NEC chip scaler. The result is a “pixel free” image, even more detailed, which aims to offer a real “emotional” experience to the viewer.
The idea of the new PX1005QL is to meet the growing demand for large projections in meeting rooms and conference rooms in the corporate environment as well as in the education sector, up to digital signage in retail and entertainment environments. The new projector provides future-proof connectivity and operation, with various 4K inputs including Quad 3G SDI, two inputs with DisplayPort and HDMI each, plus a 4K/UHD optional slot for Slot-in PC OPS (Open Pluggable Specification).
PX1005QL also incorporates a laser light source, which allows new levels of brightness, low operating costs for new applications, large screens, less sensitivity to ambient light and reduced energy consumption. Laser technology devices, in fact, do not require any maintenance and do not require the replacement of the panel or optical filter, in some cases reaching a guaranteed 20.000 hours of life. The new PX1005QL also allows flexible 360° installation, geometric image adjustment, Picture-in-Picture function and 3D support. There is also a wide-angle lens series with bayonet mount and there is the possibility of using third-party optics, which allow customized installations and easier replacement of existing projectors.
It is estimated that the new NEC PX1005QL projector will be available on the market from June 2018.
