Sony’s SRG-X40UH pan tilt zoom (PTZ) camera combines high image quality, versatile connectivity and installation flexibility.
The SRG-X40UH, Sony’s newest addition to the PTZ camera line-up is now available for delivery in Europe. The camera is the ideal choice for remote monitoring and communications in a wide range of industries that have seen strong growth in the past two years, including corporate, education, healthcare, and others.
The SRG-X40UH camera, first unveiled in May this year at the ISE exhibition, is equipped with a 4K Exmor R™ CMOS image sensor and offers high quality images in 4K[i], as well as powerful zoom capabilities with a wide viewing angle, UVC and HDMI connectivity. With simple operation and interface connection, it is easy to connect and use for many video applications including web conferencing with simple USB-C plug and play cable connection.
The SRG-X40UH 4K PTZ camera awarded “Best of Show” in June at Infocomm 2022, offers exceptional detail and high quality images. [ii] Up to 40x in FHD and 30x in 4K, and a viewing angle of 70 degrees, the camera offers natural color reproduction and high sensitivity to capture facial or other relevant details in remote communication situations, even in low light. With easy HDMI and UVC connections and PoE+ support, the SRG-X40UH can be integrated into existing systems with minimal wiring and controlled remotely via VISCA/VISCA-over-IP controls.
With more than 20 years of technical experience behind it, Sony’s line of PTZ and remote-controlled cameras is now widely used for remote teaching and communication at universities, hospitals and corporate facilities, as well as remote production at events and broadcast stations.
The SRG-X40UH camera is now available on ERP at a price of ERP €3,000.
