The participation of the German company in ISE 2022 was in the sign of its most important product, MediorNet, forerunner of the distributed approach to video infrastructures, with its ability to combine signal transport, routing, processing and conversion into a redundant network.
ISE 2022 was an important edition for Riedel, which set up a perfectly divided stand: on the one hand, products and solutions; on the other hand, meetings, training and events. All this, to involve the public as much as possible and focus attention on the MediorNet universe, whose introduction on the market dates back more than a decade ago, but whose relevance is still evident.
MediorNet is, in fact, a versatile and very reliable AV network backbone, a system that offers the advantages of distributed and software-defined hardware, also characterized by a modular ‘future proof’ structure, the real added value of this solution. In fact, MediorNet evolves together with the evolution of standards and expectations of the sector, as demonstrated by Riedel’s most recent proposals to the various challenges deriving from the transformation in an IP key: a range of new technologies based on SFP designed to integrate intelligent signal interfaces MicroN, MicroN UHD and Compact from MediorNet and the MetroN core switch. In addition, to complete the Riedel offer, there are the MuoN, FusioN and VirtU processing hubs, complete IP solutions for a wide range of functions and applications. There are two key qualities from which Riedel never departs: distribution and definition by software.
Serkan Güner from Riedel, whom we met at the company’s stand during the days of the event, underlined his satisfaction with the progress of the fair and added: “We decided to divide the stand into two distinct parts to offer visitors a vision clear of our proposals and a series of events and meetings for those who want to learn more. We are increasingly entering the field of installations, and we also work a lot in the broadcast and nautical world, for systems that combine complexity and high performance. In addition, the company team, especially in the United States, has grown considerably, the company is expanding and I think this is a very clear and optimistic message for the market.”
In short, for a perfect transition from the legacy SDI world to the IP, Riedel is one of the names to keep an eye on! And ISE 2022 has fully confirmed it!
