Improvements in design, enhanced components and the new FiRPHASE processing are just a few of the upgrades inside the new black cabinet of the RCF ART7 Mk4 Series
The ART Series is the beating heart of RCF. These multiple purpose active speakers represent a great example of audio design in a rugged composite cabinet, now in black. The Mk4 Series is equipped with a new generation of 2-way Class-D fan-less amplifiers, high-powered woofers and the latest compression driver technology, plus a redesigned front grille. Class-D power amplifier’s technology packs huge performance operating with high efficiency into a lightweight solution. The amplifier features a mechanical aluminium structure which not only stabilises the amplifier during transportation but helps the silent and fan-less heat dissipation. The integrated DSP manages full loudspeaker processing, phase filters, crossover and EQ, soft limiter, FiRPHASE and a switchable bass boost.
The woofer delivers the reproduction of the mid-bass frequency range and controlled deep bass while the compression driver offers a very open and natural midrange sound and high frequencies reproduction. The ART 745-A features a 4” Titanium Compression Driver which allow a crossover point of only 650 Hz, while the 3” Titanium Compression Driver with a crossover point under 800 Hz is included in the 735-A and 732-A models.
With its innovative design, the ART 7 Series has succeeded in one of the most renowned and hardest international design competitions worldwide earning the Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category.
