At London’s Fastest Night with QED, Christie and Nike.
The turbine hall at London’s Tate Modern Art Gallery – so big Usain Bolt would take 14.35 seconds to run across it – was the hub for a unique Nike event that saw sport runners take to the streets and race among the capital’s landmarks. As the event demanded 360O daylight projection, it was a test of tech too. Only the best, high brightness, low power, projection could fill the space, do what QED Productions, Limelight Sports and creative agency Rosie Lee needed it to do – and be rigged in just six hours.
That projection tech included eight Christie 4K/30 Boxers to cover the East Wall and the Bridge in a show that delivered a total of 660,000 lumens of illumination that could be seen day and night, sunshine and cloud.
