Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse are starting

There are only a few more days to go before the curtain comes up on the 2019 edition of Prolight+Sound and Musikmesse in Frankfurt.
From the 2^nd to the 5^th of April at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre, the German city on the banks of the Main will host the most important international event for companies that provide technology and services related to entertainment, shows and events – an opportunity that cannot be missed for the audiovisual systems integration and content creation sectors.
Visitors from over 150 countries and international exhibitors will be the protagonists of four intense days, during which professionals will be able to connect with the leading manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors of the entertainment world, as well as technicians and experts in system integration.
There are also product demos, free conferences and workshops on topics such as event management and security, in-depth studies on IP-based transmission technologies, experimentation with immersive technologies, and integration of multimedia networks. In addition, professionals can test large audio systems in special areas dedicated to recreating realistic environments. Hall 4.1, instead, will be used as a professional networking area, an ideal and practical meeting point for PL+S and Musikmesse participants.
In particular, the conference The Future of Music and Audio Technology will touch on the hottest topics facing the global music market, such as artificial intelligence, apps and wearable devices, while the Immersive Technology Forum will host companies of distinction in the fields of 3D audio, spatial audio, virtual and augmented reality, 360° projections and holography. A new entry for the 2019 edition in the fixed installations sector, CAVIS – Congress for Audiovisual Integrated Systems – will offer further opportunities to learn about real-world projects, while remaining in the field of entertainment and shows.
Also this year there will be Italian companies among the exhibitors: from the Rome-based Link, a leading company in the field of connectivity solutions, to RCF, a historic Emilia-based manufacturer of professional audio systems, not to mention Proel, a supplier of audio and lighting products, musical instruments and related accessories on the international market.
The participation of these companies demonstrates once again the importance of this event for the Italian market and manufacturers, who have always been interested in developments and innovations regarding systems integration in the entertainment sector.
