Specializing in distributing products for the Office sector since its inception, today Xpres complements its established collaborations with the primary vendors of standard and multifunction printers with a new and exciting partnership with Philips, a brand that was recently ranked as 43rd in the world, in terms of economic value, by the authoritative Best Global Brands 2018. Thus, we see the birth of a specific and promising synergy between Philips’ Professional Display Solutions and one of the most interesting and organized Italian companies in terms of distributing products and solutions in the ICT, consumer electronics and corporate office sectors.
A sought-after partnership that was inspired by the integration of a series of factors that involve communication strategies, logistics processes, sales network management and also the exceptionality of the experience offered to the client, thanks to a wide range of solutions provided by Philips for Public Displays and Professional TV.
The array of solutions includes professional screens equipped with Android System on Chip, panels with 4K Ultra HD resolution and an integrated HTML browser. There are also displays and applications for viewing and managing content in semi-outdoor settings (display windows and areas with high brightness), in technological setups for the education sector, for meeting rooms – with Multi Touch and LFD monitors with Quadviewer function – and for every kind of public installation, with video walls with ultra-thin frames and new generation LED walls.
To best present promotion, sales and distribution activities (and furthermore foster their joint development), Philips and Xpres have put together a commercial plan aimed at the Office sector that includes educational trainings for partners that will grant specific certifications upon completion, personalized technical-commercial support, a rebate program for reaching targets, the possibility of purchasing demo products and granting protected Bids for certain projects and/or clients. Additionally, the consolidation of the partnership between the two companies will increasingly allow all of Xpres’ Office clients to access the special sales and demo sessions dedicated to Philips’ innovative products and solutions. “An important initial training activity,” recalls Simone Gagliardi, Sales Director Italia for Philips Professional Display Solutions, “took place on 27 September right at Xpres’ headquarters in Frascati (Rome) and focused on the new features and installation and configuration procedures of CMND, Philips’ software platform for remotely managing content and displays. It was an entry-level course, with distinct sessions for signage and hospitality, held by Daniele Tomè (Technical Sales Manager Italia for Philips PDS) that will be followed by an advanced version already scheduled for 15 November.”
Today, the agreements, possibilities and common actions programmed by Philips and Xpres fully satisfy the vision of both companies, representing both immediate and long-term orientation. “In the path they have chosen,” adds Simone Gagliardi, “Philips pursues wide-range collaborations, in a certain sense anticipating the guidelines of their own Partner Program that will be officially presented at ISE 2019, while we here at Xpres,” explains Valentino Buccella, Commercial Director, “intend with this initiative to provide our client base with more and ever-better business opportunities, which in this case are based on solution quality and the technical-commercial support guaranteed by Philips.”
