Philips Professional Display Solutions has launched in EMEA the new C-Line Crestron Connected V2 interactive displays with Windows operating system, offering new levels of usability, creativity and compatibility for any meeting environment, big or small.
Unveiled at ISE 2020 and updated to meet the unprecedented needs and requirements for multi-location, online meetings caused by this year’s market conditions, the new Philips C-Line range has been designed to raise the bar for interactive displays and meeting room collaboration, combining 4K UHD multi-touch screen technology and performance, premium design, with all the capabilities and functionality of an Intel Core i7 powered Windows 10 pro PC.
Even when attending from another office, home or country, the C-Line series, thanks to the ability to share screen without interruption, allows BYOD meetings, in which everyone uses their own device. For those who work in presence, however, the advantage of this series of displays is the PCAP touch screen technology, ideal for simplifying the work of teams directly on the display. USB and HDMI connections are conveniently placed on the edge of the display for quick and easy access. C-Line monitors also support Active Pen technology. Finally, the possibility of sharing work with all participants and/or storing it securely in the cloud should be emphasized, reducing the need for manual notes and facilitating collaboration.
All this, regardless of the sharing platform used: companies can install a Philips C-Line display while continuing to use the solutions they are familiar with, such as Zoom, Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams. System administrators can integrate displays, using their built-in professional version of the Windows operating system, into their corporate infrastructure strategy, whether it’s a full Microsoft environment (Exchange, Teams, Azure) or, for example , a Google implementation (GSuite, Hangouts).
