Panasonic announced the launch of a new laser projector 12.000 lumens 1 CHIP DLP, which aims to maintain, even in a higher class, the compactness and lightness of the 10.000 lumens projectors.
The new Panasonic SOLID SHINE PT-RZ120 laser projector, on sale from October, to enrich the range of 1-chip DLP laser/phosphorus products without filter. This new projector is offered in the same case as the already well-known 6.000 lumen PT-RZ660 series; the idea is to offer an advantageous relationship between brightness and size. Thanks to the hermetically sealed optical block, the dust-proof case and above all the cooling system not based on the air filters, the new PT-RZ120 is able to operate up to 20.000 hours without maintenance, which makes it an ideal product for intensive use in permanent installations (education, exhibitions and Digital Signage applications).
A hybrid wheel system (Color Wheel and Phosphor Wheel) and SOLID SHINE laser technology are responsible for faithfully reproducing colors with high brightness. Among other technical details, we point out the dynamic contrast of 10.000: 1 and the multi-projector synchronization feature, which performs an automatic control on the dynamic contrast and on the opening and closing of the shutter on all projectors connected to the network, synchronizing them to starting from a master device.
PT-RZ120 supports 4K signal on single cable and has 3G-SDI input compatible with HDMI, DVI-D, 5BNC, D-Sub and RS232C outputs. Designed to fit existing control systems, all new projectors are compatible with HDBaseT, Art-Net, Crestron Connect and PJLink protocols and with all the interchangeable lenses of the Panasonic range for the 1-chip DLP models already on the market.
