In Milan, the “Giuseppe Meazza” stadium, commonly referred to as the neighborhood in which it stands, San Siro, is a real institution. The Dante interfaces by Ecler, a brand distributed in Italy by Exhibo, now embellish it even further.
There are many extraordinary matches, which have marked the history of football, played in what – not surprisingly – has been renamed by fans and the specialized press “Scala del Calcio”, the “Meazza stadium” in Milan, at San Siro. The prestige and the dimensions of this stadium therefore require adequate infrastructures, for the conduct of the various hosted events, ranging from football matches to concerts.
Especially during the football matches of the two Milanese teams, two different audio/video stages are engaged: one main placed in the high part of the stadium, the second one positioned on the sidelines and used to send advertising contributions to the first during intervals and interventions from the field of national radio stations.
The link between the two stations must therefore be strictly bi-directional. The system was created with digital technology. In particular, the analog audio signals are entrusted to two Dante Ecler DN44BOB interfaces that, after digitization, send them to fiber optic converters that cover the distance between the two stations without any problems.
The installation of the “low” station and its connection to the main station were entrusted to Left & Right, which takes care of the DJ sets of Radio 105 inside the stadium, and which has used the professionalism and competence of A.V.L. Technology, both for the choice and for the installation of the equipment. Roberto Gnecchi of A.V.L. Technology has thus been able to tell: “I had to guarantee the maximum reliability to the audio/video connection between the two A/V stations. For the audio I used the new Ecler DN44BOB interfaces: a brand that at other times has already allowed me to create high quality installations guaranteed over time.”
