Designed for retailers and professionals, this new attractive location offers, in different areas, all LG solutions dedicated to different environments, from transportation to digital signage, from home theater to video wall installations
Located on the fifth floor of the LG’s Milan headquarters, the new showroom was officially opened on Wednesday 1 February with a dedicated event, introduced by an interesting press conference held by Sergio Ceresa, Director of Information Display B2B division for LG Electronics. “The main goal” – said Mr. Ceresa – “is to show in a unique and exclusive context the technological excellence of LG, placed in different reference locations, such as hotels, airports, retail and others. This new concept is born with the aim to be the digital signage reference area of our partners, then at their disposal for demo, training and business meetings.”
The showroom is in fact divided into subject areas according to the sectors: QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), Transportation, Hospitality, Retail and Education. A specific area is dedicated to OLED commercial display: LG on this technology has indeed placed great and it came to have a lot of visibility in consumer world. The intention is to achieve the same visibility into B2B.
Together with the launch of the new showroom, LG has also introduced a new simplified brochure, a sort of quick “rundown” on the major technology areas of the company. “We were looking for more simplicity” – explained Sergio Ceresa – “because we know how many brands they are working our customers. We wanted to give them a fresh and clear tool with which to navigate in the LG universe, composed of as many as 63 different companies.”
In the showroom, among many products, deserves a special mention the Smart Hybrid Cooler 49WEC, a refrigerator whose door opening incorporates a transparent panel with M+ technology, and the spectacular Dual View Curved video wall constructed with eight curved OLED 65EE5C monitors , four on each side, with 4K resolution. Very interesting also Transportation and Hospitality areas, with respectively two 49-inch panels LS75C series and two TV screens ProCentric V 49LW541H and ProCentric Direct 49UW761H.
The retail area shows instead the smallest model in the range, 10”, up to the largest (98”). Also exposed different great visual impact displays as the 86” of 4K UH5C family, with a brightness of 500 cd, or the Ultra Stretch 86BH7C model, with a brightness of 700 cd. Finally, in the educational area we find the interactive touch screen Ultra HD 84TR3B with included LG white board software that allows its use as a digital whiteboard. It is a 84” screen with 4K resolution that can handle up to ten simultaneous touches and is mounted on a touch shell.
