4K resolution and very high brightness make the new Panasonic PT-RQ50K a true giant, as far as performance is concerned, but contained in one of the smallest and most manageable chassis in the world, in its category.
The new Panasonic PT-RQ50K is a product created for live events and entertainment spaces, therefore for the world of rental, staging and theme parks, with 4K image quality and quick configuration features. Thanks to the very high brightness, 50.000 lumens, a single PT-RQ50K is able to match the light output of two projectors with lower brightness, thus reducing installation and configuration times. The laser-phosphor technology with separate red and blue also allows the projector to reproduce colors in a clear and effective way, while the red laser technology improves the color range, producing images closer to the Rec. 2020 standard and color specification SMPTE2120.
As for size, another very important topic in rental and staging applications, the new PT-RQ50K significantly reduces them and, naturally, also the weight is lowered (less than 130 kg). Furthermore, the appliance does not require external coolers or laser racks. Ergonomic handles and built-in eyelets allow you to move and install the device without having to rent a frame.
To further reduce configuration times, the PT-RQ50K is equipped with a wide range of exclusive features from Panasonic. First of all, the Geometry Manager Pro software by Panasonic is pre-installed on the device, making it unnecessary to install features such as geometric adjustment, edge blending, color matching, brightness control and masking. The device also includes a small LCD screen that facilitates configuration and displays status information and error messages. Thanks to the new remote preview function, installers can connect the PC to the projector via a LAN cable, so as to remotely examine the contents while the shutter is still in the OFF position. Furthermore, the device is compatible with the Smart PJ Sin app and has a new complete line of specially designed lenses, with projection ratios ranging from 1.13 to 7.69.
PT-RQ50K will be available for purchase in Europe starting from December 2019.
