The great novelty NEC presented at ISE 2020 is called PX2000UL and it’s a 20.000 lumen single chip DLP laser projector
NEC Display Solutions cannot be missing from Integrated Systems Europe! In this 2020 edition, the main novelty is the PX2000UL projector, which aims to offer large format images with performances close to devices with 3 DLPs… at the price of those at one DLP! PX2000UL is the first NEC projector to use single-chip DLP laser technology, with a brightness of 20.000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 10.000: 1.
It’s a solution for retail, education, transportation, museums and amusement parks, which offers high performance in terms of color, thanks to the use of an additional red laser and, thanks to a sealed optical system, it also ensures clear projections avoiding problems caused by dust.
The projector does not use filters and mounts a liquid cooling system. It also has a very silent fan (43/45 dB) and weighs only 51 kg, therefore being very handy and ideal for applications where a certain flexibility of installation is required.
Furthermore, starting from June 2020, the PX2000UL model will be supported by the ProAssist software, an application that further speeds up installations. The ProAssist tool supports multiple set-ups of networked projectors covering all professional needs such as geometric and optical adjustment, blending, color uniformity and white balance.
Enrico Sgarabottolo, Sales Director TIGI of NEC Display Solutions Division, says: “We are happy to present the PX2000UL projector, which thanks to the latest laser technology is able to offer more realistic images and with a rich range of colors, a result never previously achieved at these levels of brightness. All this with greater manageability, low maintenance and lower costs.”
On the market, the new laser projector will be available from March. At ISE, the product can be viewed at the NEC Display Solutions stand (5-R20).
