Designed for training and conference rooms, Lindy’s new multifunction intelligent system – which will be presented at ISE 2020 – consists of a receiver, a connection panel and a control panel, which communicate with each other via network cable
Three components (a connection panel, a control panel – both wall or table mountable – and a standalone receiver unit) for a very powerful and performing 4K multifunction AV system, is the new Lindy proposal for training and conference environments. The system, in practice, is a 4K AV switch with three inputs, and supports resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840 × 2160@30Hz) over distances up to 40 meters and 1920 × 1200@60Hz up to 70 meters between the connection panel and receiver. Furthermore, thanks to the support of HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 encodings, it’s also possible to transmit protected contents.
The connection panel contains the system’s AV inputs and a switch that allows switching between two HDMI sources and a VGA, which allows you to manage an analog audio signal separately. Communication between the connection panel and the control panel takes place via HDBaseT via network cable. Thanks to the 5Play system implemented in HDBaseT technology, it’s also possible to transmit all the RS232 control signals and the USB return channel for the touch screen function of the smartboard. Finally, the control panel allows you to select the input source, the audio volume and the display on and off.
The receiver feeds both the connection panel and the control panel via PoH, always via network cable. The system can be easily configured and controlled via WebGUI.
One of the main advantages of this system is the ease of managing presentations. It’s a solution suitable for small and medium-sized installations, for example conference rooms and conference rooms within companies, or training rooms and school environments.
The system will be presented at ISE 2020 and will be on the market starting from the end of February 2020 also directly in the online shop on the Lindy website.
