Stardust is a media agency that very successfully proposes a new concept of brand promotion – influencer marketing – with the creation of high-quality creative content and original formats massively conveyed on major social platforms.
In this activity of connecting commercial brands with the vast network audience, Stardust makes use of the unstoppable creativity of a selected panel of influencers, Tik-Tokers and Youtubers, who speak the ‘language’ of social knowing perfectly its potential and dynamics. The agency’s main asset is the Stardust House – a 1,300-square-meter villa located in the countryside near Monza and equipped with a swimming pool, gym, sauna and large spaces – inside which young influencers produce branded video content on a continuous cycle.
Such a creative hub needs to be supported with an equally creative and exciting environment. To this end, the villa was recently renovated inside, with interventions aimed at creating a series of thematic spaces that could be genuinely stimulating for these youngsters, such as the environment that reproduces a forest, or the eighteenth-century room with Rococo-style chandeliers and sofas, or an area entirely covered in graffiti. But the most dynamic and technological space in the Stardust House is the ‘Cloud Room,’ in which the integration of professional figures from the world of entertainment into the creative restyling project of the villa has produced a new and dynamic image. The Cloud Room is a large area with the ceiling and adjacent wall covered with 60 square meters of wadding, covering a hi-tech lighting apparatus with almost endless possibilities. Basically, a matrix with thousands of 16-million-color LEDs, computer-controlled and capable of simulating an infinite range of natural events: from the rising or setting sun to a delicate rainbow to the realistic lightning strikes of a violent storm.
“Lighting design, choice of solutions, supply of technical materials and implementation of the system were entirely managed by Zalight”-explained Luca Di Donato, the company’s business developer. “Behind the Stardust House project is a group of companies and professionals who integrated their skills in an effective collective effort: Davide De Luca’s Cartesio Group (concept, design, render and art direction); Qualis Enterprise (general contractor: room renovation and plumbing); Studio Massera and Architettura Ambiente & Design srl (interior curator and executive design with artistic direction of the scenographic part); CST Scenografie (realization and assembly of the scenographic elements). The infrastructure of the system-wholly conceived and designed by Giovanni Fragassi (freelance LD and Zalight consultant)-includes 300 meters of 60-pixel/meter RGB LED Strip and related Ethernet-SPI Pixel Controllers, all managed and programmed with LedStripStudio software. The realization of the system-despite the complexity of the lighting project-occurred in a very short time; from the first contact with the set designer Elisabetta Pajoro (team Studio Massera and Architettura Ambiente & Design srl ), to the delivery of the system at the end of August, only two months passed, during which we elaborated and presented a detailed project in accordance with the indicated budget, chose the various suppliers, realized the complete technical set-up, and programmed the control software according to Stardust’s needs.”
