A look at the Kramer 4K60 4:2:0 HDMI & VGA automatic switcher series, which offers broad connectivity and control for various devices
The Kramer 4K60 VGA & HDMI 4:2:0 Automatic Switcher Series is a very interesting solution for meeting rooms, auditoriums or conference halls, as well as for displaying AV signals. These are four switcher models, all working in 4K60 4:2:0 resolution, with HDMI and VGA inputs. DIP-31 and DIP-31M have HDMI output, while DIP-20 and WP-20 models have HDBaseT output.
DIP-31 supports different input selection modes and transmits the signal via HDMI cable to a compatible receiver (such as the VS-62H or a display/projector). DIP-31M is a superior class model that can automate and personalize conference and meeting rooms of considerable size, including light control, screens and other options.
DIP-20 and WP-20 are the two HDBaseT models. WP-20 is a 4K UHD wall plate switcher with EDID management, easy-to-control options and audio embedding feature. It is designed for signal distribution in any size room, it is particularly easy to install, with browser-based configuration and single PoE cable for Ethernet connectivity and power.
Finally, DIP-20 is an extended reach 4K@60Hz 4:2:0, HDBaseT transmitter for computer graphics video. The DIP-20 accepts HDMI inputs and PC video graphic inputs as well as Ethernet signals, serial data, and unbalanced stereo audio input (embedded in the output signal). For signal transmission to compatible receivers (eg TP-588D or TP-580RXR) it uses an HDBaseT cable. Also, being a PoE provider, it is able to power compatible PoE products (for example, the TP-588D).
