At ISE 2018, Martin Audio decided to put all his best cards on the table, with dedicated one-hour demos for all the top products, from BlacklineX to the new enhanced O-Line.
There were many products on the Martin Audio booth at the latest ISE: BlacklineX, CDD, CDD-LIVE, O-Line and WPM, series of products also hosted in the Audio Demo Room E104, near Hall 10, for one-hour demo sessions which allowed participants to get to know the products thoroughly, even with appropriate case histories and listening moments.
The novelty, in particular, is called O-Line, micro line array already known, but recently equipped with additional coverage and control capacity thanks to a scalable resolution driven by the new iKON amplifiers and the DISPLAY optimization software, in an updated version. O-Line is designed for a wide range of architectural applications, from places of worship to airport terminals or stations. In many applications, an O-Line array can be driven using a single amplifier channel, with a simple EQ and limiting the required processing.
Combined with an iKON iK81 eight-channel amplifier with integrated DSP, and thanks to the DISPLAY software, the O-Line array gains the possibility of an electronically adjustable coverage to tackle the most difficult acoustic spaces, with obvious advantages for installers as well as for users. Consider, for example, the case in which a location is architecturally modified in some way after the installation of the O-Line arrays. Thanks to the electronically adjustable coveager, the installation can be reset without having to disassemble and reassemble anything. Using DISPLAY with the VU-NET control, in fact, it is possible to have several presets to make changes in coverage.
Among the other products present at ISE 2018, it’s impossible not to mention the BlacklineX suite, passive speakers with a very linear design, for applications ranging from portable sound reinforcement to on-stage monitoring, DJ and corporate events, clubs, bars, spaces commercial and places of worship. The series consists of four two-way systems and three subwoofers. The CDD series, on the other hand, combines the characteristic curved enclosures with the Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology, for level performance in contexts that require perfect sound. The CDD-LIVE version, instead, offers three models of self-powered two-line speakers and two subwoofers for rental and system integrators.
