The event, held in Milan on June 13, in the fascinating location of the Gallia Hotel, has offered the best Intermark and NEC solutions for multimedia integration in the digital era 4.0: booking services for smart work environments, visitor profiling integrated with digital signage, audio/video network distribution, advanced collaboration systems, facial recognition, smart archiving and control room management
So many things, but without confusion, in this rich and composite event organized by Intermark Sistemi and NEC Display Solutions in Milan. A room at the Hotel Gallia has been set up with a range of very different novelties and technologies combined with the purpose: to realize the “Smart Solution 4.0”, an increasingly automated and digital world. Throughout the event, there was a very harmonious and profitable sense of collaboration between Intermark and NEC.
So let’s start from the Intermark world, which has deployed first and foremost AMX‘s novelties. Specifically, the new AV over IP distribution system, which allows you to bring AV signals over a network without the use of matrix, but only with switches. The system is scalable, it can take any size, from a few units to hundreds of machines; the simplification is noticeable in the absence of a matrix, in what is without hesitation defined as “the AV distribution technology future.”
Always from AMX, touch screeen for all applications (domotics, conference rooms, etc …), sector complemented by Arthur Holm and Televic brands: motorized retractable monitors and conference and meeting room solutions. Also noteworthy are Wolfvision, with its collaboration & wireless presentation system (CYNAP) and high resolution desktop viewers, suitable for a wide variety of applications and featured with a NEC monitor. And finally, here is Philips Dynalite, lighting solutions by the well known Eindhoven company, and Viveroo, tablet control systems made in Germany.
NEC, for its part, has unveiled some really interesting novelties, starting with NeoFace Watch, facial recognition software, which was featured with Hiperwall system, a virtual matrix software capable of handling very complex control rooms, with touch screen management including projected content. The whole system is distributed over IP and allows to display both static and live content (for example, from IP control cameras). The Local Dimming allows you to turn off the backlight, ideal for control rooms. All this, complemented by NEC Naviset – control software for monitors and projectors on the network.
Also interesting is the arrival on the Italian market of a product already worldwide launched: HYDRAStor, the NEC proposal for large amounts of data storage. HYDRAStor offers a speed of 300 TB/h, an effective capacity of over 20 PB in one grid and unprecedented system scalability. The product is designed for data backup, archiving, cloud and HSM Tiering functions.
