LD Systems’ U500 In-Ear Monitoring Systems are designed to deliver high-quality, highly detailed sound directly in your ears, regardless of stage position during live events. The essential characteristics of this family of products are the range, which exceeds 100 meters, the 96 channels available, the infrared synchronization and the transmission power that reaches 30 mW: thanks to these features, the U500 series allows to obtain of professional level performances.
Before going into a little more detail on the different models, let us also underline a non-secondary peculiarity: the almost total absence of noise. In fact, the U500 In-Ear monitoring systems are equipped with a three-band EQ with parametric mids, which allows you to customize the monitoring mix, while the switchable limiter keeps the level peaks under control. The U500 bodypack receiver guarantees continuous operation for up to ten hours, therefore a long operating life, with two AA batteries, while the three-level switchable noise suppression filter is responsible for providing the user with a sound that is constantly free of interference and background disturbances.
The U500 In-Ear Monitoring Systems can be used on five different frequency bands. The 470 – 490 MHz, 514 – 542 MHz, 584 – 608 MHz and 655 – 679 MHz bands permit running up to 12 systems simultaneously. In the 823 – 832 MHz + 863 – 865 MHz range six systems can be operated at the same time providing wireless monitoring for your entire band.
Systems are small and easy to use, consisting of a base-transmitter, a bodypack receiver and a pair of high-performance earphones, which allow sound monitoring on the stage reliably.
