Sennheiser presented TruVoicelift, a free firmware update for the famous TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone that further develops voice amplification for an even better overall result.
The Sennheiser brand, distributed in Italy by Exhibo, has announced a major update for TeamConnect Ceiling 2, well known microphone array widely used by companies and higher education institutions. A free firmware update brings TeamConnect Ceiling 2 into the heart of a real voice amplification system: TruVoicelift is designed to ensure a perfect listening experience in classrooms, conference and meeting rooms, with several new, easily controllable features.
TeamConnect Ceiling 2 system can be implemented with the TruVoicelift solution by simply installing a free software update through the new version of the Sennheiser Control Cockpit app (4.3.0), for a double benefit: depending on the size and configuration of the room, the additional TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphones can be installed as room microphones, providing a touchless solution that requires no contact and thus reduces potential hygienic risks.
TruVoicelift offers intelligent features for a better listening and presentation experience. Powered by an advanced frequency change algorithm that provides a few extra decibel gains, it also includes a “feedback prevention mute” function: in the event that the audio levels excessively rise, TCC 2 automatically mutes to prevent unpleasant sound back. Speakers can therefore concentrate on their presentations, leaving the microphone with automatic audio management, including a Noise Gate function, which silences TeamConnect Ceiling 2 if a certain audio threshold is not reached, avoiding the amplification of any noise background.
All TruVoicelift settings can be easily controlled via the Sennheiser Control Cockpit app. This application also allows you to create priority areas, for example areas where audio is preferentially detected. In addition, it’s possible to define “advanced exclusion zones”, allowing the user to accurately exclude sources of noise such as air conditioning and the ventilation system.
Jens Werner, Portfolio Manager in Business Communication at Sennheiser, commented: “Many users around the world are satisfied with TeamConnect Ceiling 2. The free TruVoicelift upgrade expands the feature set of conference array microphones, bringing them to a completely new use, both for companies and for academic institutions. TruVoicelift enhances the listening experience in a room and ensures speakers are perfectly heard throughout the auditorium.”
For those who want to learn more, Sennheiser has planned a range of webinar appointments in which a 45-minute overview will be offered on how to implement TruVoicelift and discover its features. To register you can use the website of the Italian distributor Exhibo.
