HP Sound Equipment in 2020 celebrates 30 of the foundation and 15 after the establishment of its pro audio brand, K-array.
For a company, celebrating 30 years means having been able to work tirelessly and to a conscious transformation in order to be able to conform (and sometimes anticipate) to the new market conditions; if then the three founding members are always the same for 30 years is double!
Massimo Ferrati, Alessandro Tatini e Carlo Tatini in 1990 founded HP Sound for the design and installation of studios especially for radio and television applications; working in theatres, cinemas and squares, the three partners realized that the professional audio equipment could be lightened and scaled to avoid excessive transport costs, for loading and unloading; in 2005 they founded also the K-array brand, to realize high efficiency sound diffusion systems which could be easily transported and adapted to all installations.
After years of careful research and testing, K-array introduced its flagship Concert Series, which helped to affirm the Tuscan company as a producer of innovative audio solutions and today offers a wide catalog, ranging from the most compact speakers for different applications to technologies for large music tours, live events and television programs.
In these years, the K-array family has grown with new designers, inventors and distributors: over 60 employees located in Tuscany and a network of 40 distributors worldwide. Two years ago, the San Piero a Sieve building, located in the hills around Florence, was expanded and renovated, maintaining an all-Italian flavour to strengthen the brand’s identity.
We then celebrate with K-array the two anniversaries that will be celebrated throughout the year with the various events for customers, staff and suppliers.
