The Barcelona fair did not host any new product from Bose Professional, but it was still important as confirmation for the strategies undertaken and technological development, with the VB-1 Videobar in the front row
Bose’s participation in Barcelona was only apparently minor compared to last year, with no new products on the stand. In reality, the participation of the well-known brand dedicated to professional audio was important as it confirmed the strategies undertaken, as confirmed by the Sales Manager for Italy Federico Carnevale: “Despite the evident difficulty of the world of live events, we have removed no product from our catalogue, among those dedicated to these applications. We simply use them for fixed installations in live clubs, discos, auditoriums. Due to the pandemic, the live sector has experienced a very important decline, unfortunately. We have greatly differentiated our proposition to maintain growth standards, and we have achieved excellent results.”
So, was Bose Professional an ISE of confirmations and relaunches? Yes, judging by the presence on the stand of many products well known to the public and considerably established, starting from the VB-1 Videobar, for the conferencing world.
We spoke to Federico Carnevale about this application area, to which Bose has dedicated a lot of energy in recent years, and he told us: “It’s true, we are not introducing new products this year at ISE because we did so at the last edition, which was only six months ago. We will be launching new products later at InfoComm USA. However, we have recently extended the line of products for conferencing applications in small and medium sized meeting rooms with the VB-S Videobar, which completes the proposal, together with VB-1, for all types of huddle rooms, from four to six meters long. Obviously, the Bose catalog also allows us to cover the needs of much larger rooms. Furthermore, all of our video conferencing products are Microsoft certified, to work with Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. A particularity of Bose is to offer a different experience, of great construction quality. We constantly update the features of the products, especially the Videobar models, for which we have just launched a new firmware with lots of new features compared to previous versions. In short, the Videobar is an evolving product, which we carefully follow.”
