It is possible, thanks to this new way of sharing content, insights and ideas, which we will experience for the first time during the seminars of Edu Tournée 2019.
Tomorrow the ribbon will be cut on the third edition of Didacta (Florence, Fortezza da Basso), and with it will also debut the Florentine edition of Edu Tournée, Connessioni’s event in collaboration with the exhibition; with the contribution of new speakers, we will focus on the content: how technology enables new educational models and new cognitive paths, and how it can make learning more effective and information – and especially the methods learned – longer-lasting in memory and over time. The seminars are also accredited for continued training by Professional Orders and Associations.
The formative program will take place within an AV Experience Area, where you can experience directly and personally the most advanced technological solutions for training in an interactive and engaging manner. This area, designed and built by What We Are, is made possible thanks to the contribution of solutions and technologies made available by the Edu Tournée partners: AVIXA, Benq, Casio, Leading Technologies, Lightware, Prase Media Technologies and Sony.
Some of the seminars will be conducted according to the “inverted presentation” model, a unique method of interaction between speaker and audience conceived by Véronique Nah, a theatre artist who, throughout her career, has carried out intensive training for teachers, students and professionals in various fields. Interpreting the need for revitalization of the 2019 edition of Edu Tournée @ Didacta, Véronique Nah has developed a model that allows the members of the audience to express their expectations, questions and expertise on a subject, reversing the convention whereby the audience ask questions to the speaker only at the end of his or her presentation. This “inverted presentation” focusses on the relationship with the audience: it is a tool, a stimulating opportunity for the speaker to interweave the questions of the public with the main points of his or her own presentation.
The programme will be further enriched with the contribution of new speakers: Luca Sancricca, Experiential & Training Manager, Prof. Tommaso Minerva, Director of the e-Learning Centre of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and of the Edunova Interactive Centre, as well as President of the Italian e-Learning Society, Daniela Scaccia, Director of CTU – Centre for Educational Innovation and Multimedia Technologies, University of Milan. They will be joined by Guido Guidi, Head of the Multimedia Laboratory at the University of Florence, and Donato Masci, acoustic designer, consultant and owner of Studio Sound Service, who were already guests of the tour in 2018. There will also be Adriano D’Alessio of Lightware, Mauro Lavazza of Leading Technologies, Fabio Mazzurana of Sony, Davide Moretti of Casio, Alessandra Ollano of BenQ, and Valeria Rapa, Gualtiero Anselmetti, Andrea Pòrcina and Roberto Vogliolo of AVIXA.

The objectives of Edu Tournée 2019 in six points:
- to expand the knowledge and skills of professionals involved in the world of education, with respect to the opportunities offered by new technologies;
- to present insights and good practices, ideas and suggestions for new didactics and the design of multimedia and interactive environments for training;
- to share ideas on teaching, content, possible methods of study and benefits through the adoption of AV technologies;
- to create opportunities for networking and for the exchange of ideas among all professional profiles related to education and training;
- to provide an area (AV Experience Area) with realistic and tangible examples of available state-of-the-art solutions;
- to develop the theme of new technologies and innovation within the Didacta event.
