Launched by the well-known Italian company Euromet, the new protective shells for large projectors are designed for outdoor environments
The new Euromet Kometa line of large projector shells was created first and foremost to accommodate the new EPSON EB PU2220 line and, not secondarily, from the need to have outdoor shells capable of accommodating the popular stacking and rigging rental frame cages, also by Euromet and distributed worldwide.
Since almost none of the shells currently on the market provide for the convenient insertion of these cages, the company decided to proceed with its own line that would facilitate installations for customers and partners.
In this way, Euromet’s offer regarding the installation of large projectors can be said to be truly complete
The development of the new line, christened Kometa, took place – as is customary for Euromet – in a completely autonomous and original key, based on compliance with the specific needs of the market and in particular with the requirements of practicality and speed typical of rental companies. This is why Kometa shells are flight cases that can be assembled directly in the warehouse and then transported to the location with the relevant cage and projector ready.
Also decidedly innovative is the docking and hanging system, which incorporates the practicality of a number of Euromet solutions developed and patented over the past two decades, and which allow any type of projection, even in the most difficult hanging conditions, with the stability and safety inherent in all Euromet solutions.

The models
The new Kometa series includes both a STORM and a WIND model, to always meet the specifications and adapt to the economic possibilities of the clients. The STORM solution includes outdoor placement with heating and cooling systems, while the WIND solution includes cooling only.
Underlining the innovativeness of the new line has already come a major award, the AV AWARD 2022, which honors the best new products in the Audio/Video world each year in London.
