Strategic partnership between Epson and Kramer to offer innovative solutions for Epson projectors, which are transformed into versatile BYOD wireless environments.
Epson Europe has partnered with Kramer Electronics to offer innovative video-projection solutions for learning environments and meeting rooms. The package includes several models from the wide Epson range, as well as VIA GO, the Kramer solution for business wireless presentations. Let’s start from VIA GO: it’s a wireless solution that could be defined as “plug-and-present”, which allows participants to perform presentations from tablets, smartphones or laptops during meetings. The integrated Wi-Fi access point turns any Epson projector new or already on the market into a versatile BYOD environment with wireless functionality. The VIA GO solution works with all models of the current range of Epson projectors and also with the new EB-2000 series, that will be presented soon.
Other features of VIA GO include wireless mirroring for iOS, Android, Chromebook, PC and Mac, 1080p60 video playback, 1024-bit content encryption, and the ability to present two sources on a single display to allow more people to collaborate.
The Epson range of projectors includes models suitable for both training and business environments, ranging from entry-level units to 5.000 lumens laser projectors, designed for larger presentation environments. The range also includes interactive and portable models with ultra-short optics, as well as complementary devices such as Visual Presenter.
The statement by Neta Lempert, VP Digital Business Development of Kramer, seals the agreement: “The pan-European partnership between Epson and Kramer” – he said – “is excellent news for current Epson customers, who can thus add the connectivity and wireless BYOD presentation to their meeting rooms, as well as for new customers who will get the best of both technologies.”
