Epson launches challenge to flat screens with a new 100” all-in-one interactive laser solution: the EB-1470Ui is an ultra-short throw projector with WUXGA resolution
Epson announced the EB-1470Ui, the first ultra-short-throw interactive video projector with 3LCD laser light source for video conferencing applications. The stated goal is to ensure easy connectivity and configuration with 20.000 hours of maintenance-free operation, and most importantly remove small flat-panel displays from conference rooms.
By giving priority to productivity, collaboration and device integration, the EB-1470Ui Wireless Projector lets you share content with whiteboard and remote record from smartphones, tablets and laptops. The Auto Power On feature starts the device as soon as a cable is connected, saving time, while the high-resolution projection (up to 100”) ensures that everyone can view content by facilitating meetings and conferences.
The interactive laser display works on almost all flat surfaces, turning them into a digital touchscreen and offering an ideal collaboration solution for modern meeting rooms.
EB-1470Ui is compatible with any video conferencing software, from EasyMP Multi-PC Projection to the Epson iProjection application for use with iOS, Android and Chromebook or mobile devices. Also available is the screen mirroring function from Android devices. Equipped with two HDMI ports and wireless connectivity, the EB-1470Ui has scalable projection sizes from 70” to 100”, while WUXGA resolution delivers full HD definition. The projector, however, can be used in any ambient light condition with automatic light adjustment and 4.000 lumens Color Light Output (CLO) functionality with a contrast ratio of 2.500.000: 1.
EB-1470Ui will be available from November 2017.
