[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Spanish brand distributed by Exhibo opens the new year with an array of exciting news for the AV world: from new speakers to extenders to signal converters, let’s see what Ecler’s 2022 looks like.

Ecler means audio, but not just that: the year that has just begun clearly indicates that the Spanish brand does not want to leave out the video aspects, for a truly complete and integrated AV proposal. There are many novelties, and it definitely won’t be possible to list every single one, but, if you allow us the culinary combination, take this article as a rich appetiser, to be enjoyed before an excellent meal. Enjoy your reading and… enjoy your meal!

Audio: Ecler habitat

Let’s start with the news dedicated to audio, which is Ecler’s main field of application. The first novelty is the WiSpeak GLOBE speaker, which is added to the already known WiSpeak TUBE and WiSpeak CUBE. It is a two-way, self-powered, full-range spherical speaker cabinet with wireless audio reception, controllable by a single WiSpeak CORE Master unit. This control unit communicates with all receiving devices and creates a WiSpeak wireless network, pairing and sending audio content to all receivers and maintaining stable communication with them. Equipped with an installation system compatible with classic ceiling lighting tracks, the new WiSpeak GLOBE is structured with a 5″ woofer and a 1″ silk dome tweeter, and is available in both white and black.

Staying in the world of audio, other solutions that will be discussed are the pendant speaker DROP6 and the ARQISi series of architectural speakers. DROP6 is a 6.5″ two-way pendant speaker featuring a very elegant design, which includes a 70 / 100V line transformer with 60/30/15 and 7.5W power selections, available in both high and low impedance levels. Also DROP6, like WiSpeak GLOBE, will be available in black and white, to adapt to all environmental needs. The ARQISi series, on the other hand, consists of a family of eleven loudspeakers ranging from a 5” two-way wooden cabinet to a 15” subwoofer. In their diversity, both speakers are designed to suit every design need, including different installation systems and a wide range of accessories that increase their flexibility.

Silence: the latest cry among ACOUSTIC panels

The Silence panels deserve their own separate chapter, the latest in the field of Acoustic panels: the new Ecler proposal for those projects that require high performance and low budgets. Available in two different sizes (120x60x4 cm and 60x60x4 cm) and two different models (with self-adhesive side or without), the Silence panels are made of flexible open cell melamine resin foam, with high absorption performance in both medium and high frequencies. Their acoustic properties ensure a significant reduction in the reverberation time of the environment which translates into better acoustic comfort. Silence panels can be installed, even without the need for tools, in false ceilings, fixed to the wall or suspended. And that’s not all: in the course of 2022, new models will arrive – again as part of the Silence series – with features further developed to adapt to any type of environment.

Video: from extenders to converters

As for the proper AV world, Ecler has announced a range of innovations ranging from extension to signal conversion, obviously passing through audio management in AV systems. Let’s start with VEO-XPS43 4K, a professional HDMI extender kit that brings the 4K @ 30Hz signal up to 30 meters away, and the 1080p @ 60Hz HDMI signal up to 60 meters, on a single Cat.6 or higher, with zero latency and support for resolutions like 480i / 480p / 720p / 1080i / 1080p / UHD / 4K. VEO-AEXS4, on the other hand, allows you to extract audio signals from HDMI streams up to 4K resolution, or to embed a stereo analogue signal into the HDMI stream, replacing the original sound. Equipped with an unbalanced stereo analogue input and output with Euroblock connectors, or a 5.1 digital output with S / PDIF coaxial connector, VEO-AEXS4 allows agile and practical audio management in high quality systems.

Also very interesting is VEO-DACS4, which allows you to convert a digital audio signal from HDMI ARC, S / PDIF Toslink or Coaxial inputs, into an analogue stereo signal, and which can also be used to convert digital S / PDIF audio. from Toslink to Coaxial and vice versa. Let’s close with VEO-CAP4U, a plug-and-play HDMI to USB video capture device designed essentially for online multimedia content creators, schools and companies, in short, for environments that require professional solutions to acquire and stream their content. The Ecler novelties in the video, therefore, are characterised by the search for practicality and immediacy of use, as well as for the quality guarantee that is typical of the brand.
