Reviews Multimediali

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Especially in this period, with the need for social distancing, there are important developments in the technologies for Distance Learning, Conferencing and Online Worship. Camlive Pro UC3022, Aten‘s proposal, shines for the union of two fundamental requirements: high quality yield and ease of use.

Camlive Pro UC3022 shows a short and significant definition: “Professional One-Person Production Studio”. A product that allows a single operator, with a few gestures and with very simple equipment, to carry out streaming transmissions, distance lessons, corporate webinars, videoconferencing links, online courses, etc.

All of this, accompanied by switching and chroma key functions, essential for creating an audio-visual product that is professional and non-amateur, as per the needs of the great majority of companies and professionals.

4K and sharing platforms
It is, in short, a small but performing portable television studio designed to receive and mix two 4K video sources, then transmitting the resulting signal in Full HD format to a very large audience, depending on the mode you choose for the broadcast, with the addition of any video effects. The product is completely plug and play and is compatible with any streaming software and with all social platforms: Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, OBS, YouTube and Facebook.

You can also use Camlive Pro UC3022 to conduct interviews, presentations and even live events, using any type of video camera (4K or Full HD) or a simple GoPro as video sources. The connection is via HDMI: UC3022 offers two inputs, in addition to the USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-B port, with USB-B to USB-C and USB-B to USB-A cables included. In practice, just connect a video source, a microphone and a laptop and you’re ready to stream. If there are two video sources, the product also becomes a mixer and allows the operator to select the source to be aired from time to time.

Digital effects and chroma keyer
In a world where, objectively, there is no shortage of products capable of realising remote streaming and digital events, what are the main strengths of the Aten proposal? First of all, the integrated DVE (Digital Video Effects), which allows you to create professional video effects also frame by frame, in addition to offering particularly captivating video transitions. By entering with a 4K resolution signal, it is also possible to divide, crop or resize images, inserting them in different scenes without compromising on quality.

The chroma keying function also allows you to set the background you want, with pop-eye effects and a decidedly high level, qualitative and expressive final result. A bit like shooting in a perfectly equipped television studio, when only a few products “managed” by UC 3022 are being used. The design of the device is particularly light and allows it to be used in any context: from conference rooms to small offices, from classrooms to churches or private spaces.

Free control app and Livestream via Bluetooth
Aten OnAir Lite is the app for remote control that allows you to intervene in real time also on the chroma keying function and on the mixing of the different signals. You can edit video settings and effects, as well as save up to eight pre-settings for even faster switching. Among the features already planned there will be simplified commands for chats, animations and sound effects, and with a view to simplifying the overall workflow.

Finally, the icing on the cake: with Camlive UC 3022 it doesn’t require anyone to be physically in contact with it in order to manage the equipment. The Bluetooth connection and the OnAir Lite app allow you to manage the device via a smartphone. A single user is therefore able to produce professional-level video content without having to set up an entire production team. A significant advantage, especially in these months of health emergency, but also for a future perspective in which it will be possible to save time and money by setting up events and remote sharing, in a logic of smart working that does not sacrifice, however, the AV quality.
