As part of a well-established policy of support for arts and culture, Canon is Digital Imaging Partner of the new “MAXXI Re-Evolution” permanent exhibition
Technology in Support of the Arts: so it could briefly summarize Canon’s ongoing commitment to exhibitions, museums and events dedicated to architecture, design and photography. Thanks to the IoX project (Imaging of Italian Xellence), Canon provides museums and institutions with technology and expertise to tell the best stories of Italian excellence. “MAXXI Re-Evolution” is the title of the new the permanent collection of the National Museum of the Arts of the 21st century (MAXXI), inaugurated on May 5 in Rome; Canon, as Digital Imaging Partner, has provided digital printing technology, taking care of the printing of the major photographic works present in the new collection.
The attraction between MAXXI and Canon was also largely predictable, considering that the founding elements of this institution include attention to contemporary creativity, innovation in the field of arts, architecture and every artistic novelty, with a particular interest in technological development.
At the end of June, Canon will also be Digital Imaging Partner of the Summer Party, the annual event that MAXXI dedicates to its Donors, Corporate Sponsors and Institutional Partners. Canon’s printing technology will be used to print the photos exhibited during this special event dedicated to who supports and accompanies the Museum in the realization of its many projects.
