And now, the new ClickShare Conference solution makes everything even easier and more immediate.
The Barco ClickShare wireless presentation system removes many problems and allows those who have to carry out video conferences to eliminate a series of worries, which in other cases arise on time. So let’s see the main characteristics of this family of products, distributed in Italy by Comm-Tec Exertis, taking an overall look at all the possibilities that the different models open to users and companies, and emphasizing, in particular, the effectiveness of the new ClickShare CX models, which allow you to directly share, wirelessly, the apps of a laptop on the meeting room display and connect them to the other devices the room is equipped with (for example, video cameras and speakers).
Huddle Room: presentations everywhere
The “basic” version of ClickShare, CS-100, allows you to hold safe and well-organized meetings even in small spaces. Everyone, including guests, can connect with a single click and share BYOD content from their device without the need for technical training. Simply connect, via USB, the ClickShare Button device to your PC or Mac and literally pressing a single button starts the sharing of contents on the screen provided in the room. To share content from other mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets, there is the ClickShare app, which easily introduces you to the meeting without waiting times. CS-100 is a standalone model equipped with an HDMI output, which allows the connection of up to eight users and sharing by one user at a time. The model is also equipped with the standard ClickShare security features: encryption, access management, https and the ability to hide the SSID of the Base Unit’s wireless network.
Since there is no space that cannot be adapted to the needs of sharing and multimedia presentation, here is the CS-100 Huddle, which enters everywhere, making the small equipped rooms suitable for collaboration in small teams, and essentially emphasizing creativity and flexibility of these spaces.
CSE-200 and CSE-200+: medium-sized spaces
With CSE-200 we enter a range of products with higher performance. CSE-200 perfectly fits into “classic” corporate meetings, offering advanced security features, a wider range of connectivity options, including support for AirPlay and Google Cast for non-HDCP content, the TouchBack function and centralized management. In addition to allowing two people to share content simultaneously, the CSE-200 provides direct connectivity to the central screen and facilitates collaboration. The TouchBack function allows you to run any application from a laptop by controlling it from the meeting room screen.
The CSE-200+ version offers an HDMI input for legacy equipment, simple and immediate switching between wireless and wired sources, advanced security features, full network integration and high interactivity, with features like annotations, whiteboard and TouchBack support on 4K panels.
CSE-800: ClickShare also at the high end
From huddle rooms to large conference rooms and even boardrooms, the step is shorter than it may seem! The CSE-800 model stands out for several unique features, including simultaneous sharing of up to eight users, moderation in both automatic and manual modes, whiteboard and annotation functions. CSE-800 is currently the most powerful system in the ClickShare family, and obviously offers advanced security features, a wide range of connectivity options (including AirPlay and Google Cast support for non-HDCP content) and centralized management. Furthermore, CSE-800 is equipped with two HDMI inputs and outputs, offers a direct connection with existing equipment and a certain ease of integration with videoconferencing systems, but also the possibility of managing two 4K DCI display with a single unit. Finally, it’s useful to underline that all Barco ClickShare models are built with ISO 27001 certified flows and processes.
ClickShare CX: for better hybrid meetings
The latest Barco proposal in the ClickShare family is ClickShare Conference, a solution that focuses on connectivity and ease for teams to carry out meetings with remote participants in a few seconds. Also in this case, the products are available according to the type of environment in which the meeting is held: small, medium or large. The final result is the same: “taking the meeting with you” wherever it is needed, in order to make any environment creative, making full use of the participants’ devices.
ClickShare CX-20 is the model designed for small environments, offers full BYOD support for remote collaboration, works with any device and with any brand of UC products, and has advanced security, connection and cloud management options. The system comes with a button to start collaboration (alternatively you can use the app). ClickShare CX-30, for medium-sized spaces, has two buttons to start collaboration, and a firmware update is already planned that will make available full interactivity and moderation features. Finally, ClickShare CX-50 offers all the advantages of previous models, but can be used with the same ease even in larger spaces and takes less than seven seconds to connect, for high quality collaboration. A firmware update is also planned for the CX-50 which will expand the interactivity and moderation functions; this solution, which comes with two buttons to start the meeting, allows you to use any laptop, conference platform and brand of USB peripherals.
