VE901 is the new extender by ATEN, designed to bring the DisplayPort signal up to a distance of 70 meters with a CAT6/6a cable
The VE901 DisplayPort HDBaseT-Lite extender is able to extend the DisplayPort signal up to 70 meters (Full HD signal) by using a Cat 6/6a cable. The combination with the HDBaseT standard also allows to support the sharing of content in 4K@60 Hz up to a distance of 40 meters, thus providing a simple and easily adaptable solution (rather than economic) for any professional A/V installation.
As for applications, VE901 is an interesting solution for professional A/V installations that require protection against video signal interference, such as medical and military.
The design chosen for this new product is quite simple and provides easy installation. Since, moreover, the new VE901 has a non-slip locking mechanism of the DC jack, it can be installed in different positions without losing in reliability. Also interesting is the 3.3V/500mA power output, which is useful in case you want to power auxiliary devices (eg active adapters).
