ATEN will be exhibiting at the next IBC, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (September 14-19, 2017), where the brand will showcase 4K signal distribution solutions for live studios and production rooms. ATEN will launch industries’ long-awaited 4K KVM over IP matrix system, to manage flexible workstations and videowalls.
Among the many products that will be showcased, visitors can experience the VM3200 Modular Matrix Switch at first-hand. This rack mountable AV signal distributor and videowall processor with dual power supply, hot swappable modular parts, allows mobile management via WebGUI and supports up to eight in- and output boards (meaning up to 32 inputs plus 32 output ports). Another relevant product is the hardware control system VK2100 / VK6000 and the new VK1100, with several interfaces and characterized by its easy-to-use customizable GUI. Finally, the KL1108VN / KL1116VN, a Cat 5 Dual Rail LCD KVM over IP Switch, with one local and one remote user, that supports dual network and a video resolution up to 1920 x 1200.
Furthermore, ATEN’s latest additions aim to bring 4K to any control room or production environment. ATEN expands its KE- series, for flexible workstations, to include the new KE8950/KE8952 4K KVM HDMI over IP extenders that allow to build KVM matrix systems in a gigabit network. ATEN’s existing KE6900 and KE6940 Full HD KVM DVI over IP extenders are renowned for their secure, high-speed data transfer, instant switching and videowall functionality.
With this launch, ATEN places itself at the top of the KVM market. “With these models, control rooms are able to access any server in the local network visualizing highly detailed videostreams or workprocesses,” says Victor Ramírez, Technical Sales at ATEN Infotech. “Operators can take immediate control from any KE-series enabled workstation, by pulling or pushing a videostream and keyboard/mouse control towards their own or a colleagues KVM console,” he continues.
Advanced security and user settings allow multiple access levels, which is necessary thinking about the unlimited amount of workstations that can be implemented in one installation. Moreover, the KE-series can support an immense videowall of up to 64 screens thanks to the virtual matrix design. It also supports high speed data and Seamless switching with low latency. The optional fiber SFP port (KE895X) ensures long distance extension.
During IBC, a KE-supported control room will be showcased live. It will be combined with ATEN’s hardware control system, which centralizes the management of an entire production room, from matrix system to basic facilities (lighting, automated doors, meeting area, …).
ATEN will have a stand (hall 10-C20) and will hold daily hands-on interactive sessions, at 11:00 and 15:00, on central IT management and Seamless signal distribution in AV and KVM settings. To book a meeting, write to: marketing@aten.be or sales@aten.be.
