Three years after the last edition of Prolight + Sound, the fair returns to Frankfurt from 26 to 29 April and Adam Hall Group will be present with two stands for its brands, Cameo and LD Systems, where new products for events will be shown.
Finally Prolight + Sound! Three years have passed since the last edition, which dates back to 2019, and there are no more news. Adam Hall Group will be present in force at the restart edition of this very important event, with its two most representative brands in the lighting and events sector.
Let’s start with LD Systems, which arrives at Prolight + Sound with only one product but… what a product! In its booth (11 #A21), the well-known pro audio manufacturer will present a new scalable system that aims to set new standards in terms of ease of use and flexibility in the professional rental market. Not a stand full of news, therefore, but a single novelty that promises to be worth a lot.
The situation of the other great Adam Hall brand present at the event with its own stand is different: we are talking about Cameo, which will offer visitors many new features, starting with Cameo OTOS H5, designed for the needs of professional Lighting Designers and rental companies who need a complete and efficient hybrid beam spot wash moving head. In addition to use in large venues, the new OTOS H5 with its high light output (19.000 lm) and IP65 certification is particularly suitable for outdoor areas, for applications such as concerts and festivals. Furthermore, with a weight of only 33 kg, the OTOS H5 is currently the lightest product in its performance class. With the P2 series, Cameo will then present its first profilers for the professional sector of theater, TV and events. The series includes spotlights with LED source in Tungsten, Daylight and Full-Color (RGBAL) versions. With a light output of 15.000 lm, the P2 models can replace traditional 1kW headlights, while the RDM-capable profilers can be flexibly adjusted in their beam angle (15-50°) via optional interchangeable lenses. For wireless control via W-DMX, P2 profilers can be equipped with a Cameo iDMX STICK.
The new Cameo LUXIS FC is also very interesting. Equipped with a 200 watt 6-in-1 COB RGBALC LED, the LUXIS FC offers good color rendering (CRI> 92) combined with high light output (7.750 lm) and is suitable for the rental market and use in theaters and exhibitions. Thanks to the new QuickChange mechanism for changing lenses, the beam angle of the LED projector can be adjusted without tools.
Another big news, Cameo STUDIO PAR G2: new generation of the STUDIO PAR series. With the STUDIO PAR 4 G2, STUDIO PAR 6 G2 and STUDIO PAR TW G2 models, the series is aimed at rental companies, small theaters and DJs who are looking for a particularly versatile LED PAR light. Even in the smaller version (STUDIO PAR 4 G2), the G2 series offers integrated mixing of all colors; STUDIO PAR 6 G2 further extends the possibilities with the Amber and UV color and light versions. The new series is finally completed by the adjustable white variant STUDIO PAR TW G2 with twelve white light LEDs. In addition to the optional wireless DMX control via Cameo iDMX STICK, the new G2 series is compatible with the patented SPIN16 technology.
Finally, we also report that with the new Hub Performance + Production space, Prolight + Sound, in collaboration with the Sample Music Festival, is expanding its range of products and services on trending audio topics such as live remixing, looping, controlling and many others. LD Systems – as main sponsor for the audio sector – and Gravity (booth PH.VIAA08) will also be present in the interactive Experience Zone and will support the audio production, DJ and digital live performance areas with their sophisticated practical solutions.
