The new line of PCAP Touch Screen Overlay solutions allows you to transform an LG UHD display into a real touch screen with various applications, from classrooms to meeting rooms, cinemas, museums, retail, interactive kiosks and much more.
LG Business Solutions Europe has announced a new line of high-performance PCAP Touch Screen Overlay solutions created in collaboration with DISPLAX, a well-known company that develops ultra-large Projected Capacitive (PCAP) multitouch solutions. This partnership marks an important step in the long-term and strategic relationship between the two companies.
The unique PCAP line of multitouch solutions has been designed for system integrators, as it allows LG UHD displays to be transformed into real touch screens with a high level of reliability. The LG Touch Overlay retrofit kit is based on DISPLAX SKIN MESH technology: the touch sensor is completely transparent, which gives the solution a unique level of visibility. The installation of the overlay kit is very simple: it can be fixed to the display with the aid of simple brackets and some screws. Being able to recognize up to 10 contact points and ensuring excellent reactivity, thanks also to an integrated autotuning software that allows you to adjust the touch, the overlay adapts to most standard sizes (22”, 32”, 43”, 55”, 65”, 75” and 86”).
