Participation, interest and professionalism characterized the sold-out three days of Edu Tournée in Florence, part of the Didacta fair from 18-20 October.
The Italian educational world is asking for technology: multimedia’s important contribution to the success of Didacta, the annual convention dedicated to the education industry, demonstrates it. Not just video projection, smart boards and other instruments supporting active learning, but also integrated AV systems, collaboration and complete solutions for transforming lessons into experiences appreciated as much by students as by teachers and technicians, both of whom are seeking technologies that are high-performing, yet simple to use and maintain.
A perfect mix of successful solutions and projects that transformed the latest stop of Edu Tournée into a real “theater” of integration, a meeting point for hundreds of professionals in the educational sector who displayed curiosity and the desire to get involved with questions for the presenters and additional follow-ups. Getting to the heart of the educational experience, presentations from Daniela Scaccia, Director of the CTU (Service Center for Technologies & Multimedia and Distance University Teaching) at the University of Milan, and Guido Guidi, Manager of the Multimedia Laboratory at the University of Florence, were particularly appreciated, as were ideas from acoustic designer and consultant Donato Masci. Everything was sponsored by the primary facilitators of the multimedia evolution in education, sponsor companies Benq, Casio, D-Link, Lightware, Prase Media Technologies and Sony and by the partners of UX-Men, which contributed to the success of this initiative headed by Connessioni.
