Domoki, the latest generation of home automation system, has obtained the CE certification and is ready to be launched on the Italian market
If domoki’s look does not differ much from other systems, however, compared to a “traditional” system, opens up interesting news. Features that domoki promises are in fact those of the latest generation of home automation system, with very low labor and installation time. A traditional system often requires an intensive wiring work: a “bus cable” must connect each component of the system and often are necessary masonry works and conduits. With domoki the cables do not need because the components of the system communicate across the wifi network or with the home automation ZigBee protocol. In each room you can install domoki through the replacement of the switches by adapting pre-existing plaques, without drastic changes.
But the real advantage of domoki seems to be its flexibility. For example, you can start with a single domoki, and then add others time to time: the system will automatically update recognizing and integrating the new devices. In case of availability of new features, the intelligent system component will independently update incorporating new applications.
The house lights, blinds, air conditioning and heating can be controlled on the geolocation of the smartphone (Android and iOS) and so, for example, heating will be activated when detecting the approach of one of the home occupants.
Now you can already buy on line domoki and in the next few months will be activated new distribution channels and set a dedicated network installers. In this regard, Marco Zanchi, President of Almadom.us, said: “Now domoki has been CE certified and we are ready to launch it on the market: we can communicate with distributors and installers with a complete and fully functional product. Before certification we would not have the ability to activate the sales channels. Now we are doing it with a lot of enthusiasm.”
