The long winter break has not taken our minds off the appointment with ISE, scheduled for early February and now just around the corner.
If in December, among wishes and hopes for the containment of the pandemic (unfortunately unfulfilled) we were still wondering if and how ISE would be, today it is clear that the fair will take place in any way, unless a local measure of closure of fairs and the like by the host country, even if the programs are still changing.
Italian companies, as usual, will participate in large numbers: just yesterday, at a first check, there should be about 35 companies that have not changed their mind during the winter break, with a reduction of about fifteen compared to the last edition. It is certainly not easy to face both the complications and the expenses of an international trip in this strange age, but it is also difficult to give up a priori what has been and probably remains a fundamental appointment for the development of business and new contacts.
For visitors, ISE has developed a program of events and conferences that will further stimulate attendance, but veering towards a more centralized model than usual: the various conferences will in fact be organized either directly by ISE, or by the co-organizers CEDIA and AVIXA, effectively cutting out – perhaps not to deal with the variables of partners residing in various countries, each with its own health policies, or perhaps just as a policy – the proposals of external partners.
The proposal is however rich, from the historical pre-fair activities, to the novelties of the last day:
- Smart Building Conference (Monday, January 31)
- Digital Signage Summit (Monday, January 31)
- Control Rooms Summit (Tuesday, February 1 – morning)
- NEW: Smart Workplace Summit (Tuesday, February 1 – afternoon)
- Digital Learning Summit (Wednesday, February 2 – afternoon)
- NEW: Live Events Summit (Thursday, February 3 – afternoon)
- NEW: Superyacht Technology Summit and VIP Experience (Friday, February 4 – morning)
There will be Technology Zones, AVIXA’s AV Experience Zone, to showcase experiences and environments, testimonials from the world of AV applications, while CEDIA will be involved in a Professional Development Programme on technical as well as business topics.
ISE assures that it will observe all precautions for a safe event, which can be accessed only with negative swab, proof of full vaccination or healing.
