On the 20th October at 10 am, the eagerly awaited Aten Webinar will take place to take stock of the KVM LCD consoles and discover the right one for your project. Register now!
On the 20th October, with the Italian language edition, a series of Aten webinars entitled The LCD console for you will start, to discover the characteristics, functionality and criteria for evaluating and choosing these devices, which are essential for efficient data management. But what is meant by LCD console? We are talking about solutions to access and manage company servers, often ‘relegated’ to narrow and difficult to reach environments, or to manage space in a van for TV connections.
For example, for the management of a single server, Aten proposes the CL3800 LCD console. KVM switches, on the other hand, allow centralised access to multiple servers, such as the CL5708N entry-level single-track LCD KVM switch, rack-mountable with integrated KVM switch, which allows you to work in all conditions; in Broadcasting mode, it can copy all commands executed on one server simultaneously to all servers. To save space, however, the best solution is the dual rail version, the CL5808N LCD KVM switch, with the LCD display that can be used both from the keyboard and from the mouse.
Finally, maximum flexibility and the most accurate monitoring can be achieved with the CL3884 multi-view LCD KVM model, which adds multiple screen layouts to the functions mentioned so far.
24/7 over IP solutions
For 24/7 accessibility, an over IP model could be the best solution: they offer customised settings that facilitate user management, and greater system security. The reference products are the KL1508Ai LCD over IP KVM switch, which incorporates the Panel Array mode to view all servers at once, therefore useful for the operator to have an eye on all connected servers. In addition, the device can be cascaded, allowing you to control up to 256 computers simultaneously. The KL1108V is also certified for military applications thanks to its advanced safety features.
Power without uncertainty
Finally, if it is necessary to monitor the performance of the servers, the PE8208 unit is available, useful for distributing the power supply, equipped with a metering and switching eco PDU that offers complete control of current flow, voltage and consumption in kWH through an intuitive browser-based eco DC user interface. Each socket can be individually controlled remotely.
To illustrate all of its server management solutions, ATEN organised a series of Webinars from the 20th to the 22nd October; the presentation in Italian will be on the 20th, at 10 am. Sign up now!
